An exprience you simply can't describe that's seriously good fun! Specifically designed for 4-persons, this Double-date experience is a total blast. Gifts for couples.
This 1-hour experience is for two couples to pair up and challenge one another in a pottery throw-down. It's the perfect double date idea, or a night out with friends. The Tribe potter will show you the basics before sitting each couple at a pottery wheel and sending you off to do some competitive & collaborative throwing.
There’s three parts to this experience:
1. To start, both couples will make an individual pot each on the pottery wheel with hands-on assistance from the potter. This is a practice throw to get you used to the clay. You will make two pots per couple and vote who has the best pot. Sounds easy enough!
2. Next, is a collaborative challenge. Both couples simultaneously engage to make the tallest or biggest pot. You and your plus one will need to work together to beat the other couple ... quite the challenge! You can accidently bump the other couple if their pot is better than yours.
3. And finally a competitive throw-down! A challenge where you all make a form on your wheel with everyone blindfolded. Apply the skills you've learnt together in a quick 'pot-off', and rely entirely on touch alone - you'll be amazed at the results! This is by far the best part of the challenge; push your skills to beat the other couple - the emphasis is on having fun. The couple with the best pot wins!
Your booking is private with sole occupancy of the studio - no potting about with people you've never met before! It's just the four of you, the potter and some mud that we sling on the pottery wheel.
This voucher is all-inclusive: items will be glazed and fired by the potter to collect at a later date.
Each e-voucher has a unique code, which is the order number once you complete your purchase. It is vital to pass this code onto the recipient to validate. Vouchers are valid for 12-months of purchase date. You need to book and do the experience before the expiry date given with your voucher. Vouchers cannot be booked on Valentine's and/or Mother's Day.
IMPORTANT: Digital e-Vouchers must be downloaded within 30-days of purchase, after which they expire. Vouchers cannot be re-issued, exchanged or refunded after this time.
Do not take part in this activity if any of the following are applicable to you:
- Allergic to, or react to clay
- Suffer from severe asthma, or have breathing difficulties
- Are recovering from surgery or broken limbs, fingers, ankle, shoulder injury, spine or back strains
Vouchers are valid for 12-months of purchase date and must be used within that time. You need to book and do the experience before the expiration date given with your voucher. We are a very busy studio, and you may have to wait up to 4 weeks for an open slot when booking. So please ensure you have enough time left on your voucher to cover this waiting period to avoid losing it. Vouchers cannot be booked on Valentine's and/or Mother's Day.
