About this Experience
Seen the 'Great Pottery Throw-down' and fancy trying your hand throwing on the pottery wheel? If so, this experience for one is for you. The perfect choice to try wheel throwing without committing to a lengthy workshop or course. It's also the ideal Birthday Gift for those who like to dabble in all things craft! You will be introduced to, and learn the art of throwing pots on the pottery wheel during this 1-hour session. One-to-one tuition allows you to throw as many pots as you like on your own wheel. No previous experience is necessary as you'll be supported throughout. The experienced potter will provide a brief demonstration and then it's your turn to throw some mud! What to expect: - 1 hour pottery wheel throwing experience for one - Learn how to throw pots out of clay on the pottery wheel - Guidance and hands-on support provided by the potter - Time to practise by yourself on the wheel - Make as many pots as you like You can either select to do (a) just the experience or (b) have your items glazed and fired by the potter upon booking. If you choose to keep your items, the potter will complete the ceramic-making process for you to collect approximately 8 weeks later. Just check the add-on option. You can also have your pots posted at an extra cost; discuss this with the potter on the day. Your booking is private with sole occupancy of the studio - no potting about with people you've never met before! It's just you, the potter and some mud that we sling on the pottery wheel. Cancellation Policy
We're a small independent studio, and as such, cancellations will not receive any refund as the potter will have prepared in advance for your booking. We are unable to fill spots when customers cancel. You can change the date after you have booked, however changes will not be accepted if less than 4 weeks notice is given before your activity date as we cannot fill spots once booked.
