Get dirty on date night! Replace traditional tactics and take the Couples Challenge instead. You'll have fun giggling and getting messy on a pottery wheel. This experience is a total blast! Take your relationship to the next level with this challenging activity that can only strengthen your bond. If you can make a pot together, then you can do anything together! #bettertogether What will you do? The Tribe potter will show you the basics before sitting you at the same wheel and sending you off to do some collaborative pottery throwing. To start, you'll sit at the same wheel and each make your own pot individually with hands-on assistance from the potter. This is a practice throw to get you used to the clay. Next, you'll try your hands at throwing two large pots together. Not as easy as it sounds as you'll need to work together, which can be a challenge. Take it up a notch and throw the last pot blindfolded … just to make it even trickier! Finish the day with four unique pieces, handmade by the two of you. What to expect: - Learn how to throw with a pottery wheel - Have fun with competitive pottery throwing - Work together to make pots on the wheel - Try your hands at wheel throwing with a blindfold - You'll get the throw four pots if all goes well You can either select to do (a) just the experience or (b) have your items glazed and fired by the potter upon booking. If you choose to keep your items, the potter will complete the ceramic-making process for you to collect approximately 8 weeks later. Just check the add-on option. You can also have your pots posted at an extra cost; discuss this with the potter on the day. Your booking is private with sole occupancy of the studio - no potting about with people you've never met before! It's just you, you're plus one; the potter and some mud that we sling on the pottery wheel. The booking and price is for TWO persons. Do not take part in this activity if any of the following are applicable to you: - Allergic to, or react to clay - Suffer from severe asthma, or have severe breathing difficulties - Recovering from surgery or broken limbs, fingers, ankle, shoulder injury, spine or back strains

Cancellation Policy

We're a small independent studio, and as such, cancellations will not receive any refund as the potter will have prepared in advance for your booking. We are unable to fill spots when customers cancel. You can change the date after you have booked, however changes will not be accepted if less than 4 weeks notice is given before your activity date as we cannot fill spots once booked.
